Aubrey's 1st day of "school"

I returned to work this week after over 2 years of being a Stay at Home Mother. I have been so blessed by the 2 years Aubrey and I have had to grow together, love on each other and enjoy our free time. It's now time for a new season and we have embraced it full on. It has certainly been an adjustment going back to work, working on a new schedule and routine, and certainly being a part from each other. If I do have to say so myself, I think we have done beautifully. At least sweet Aubrey has and I can attest to that. She stays with family most of the week and that does this mama's heart some real good while I'm away. Then 2 days a week she has begun a Mother's Day out program. We call it pre-preschool. Ha ha ha

She has done great and besides missing a little bit of sleep has adjusted well to this new routine. I miss her greatly but I know she is well protected and loved in my absence. It's like my mom told me one evening, you don't just have to learn to let go of your children when they are 18, it's a learning process that begins early in their life. I have found that to be true this week.

Little Aubrey, I pray daily that as I let you go into the presence of others to care for you while Mommy can't, that you know above all your Heavenly Father and creator goes with you wherever you go. That you are safe in His arms and covered by His love. Lean on Him even now when you think things may be a little unsure, and know You are never alone! I must always learn to trust the Lord with you and for you to know God to be your Caretaker, Father (and Mother), Protector, Sustainer, and Provider at all times. I may be the avenue that God determines to do these things for you at this time but ultimately it is Him that gives and I pray you know that always! How great is the Love of our Father has for us that He would so lavish on us to send His only Son to die in our place.
