Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Thank you Lord for the freedom you have so generously given to me and to your children. Today we celebrate our country's freedom as a nation, and our freedom as a kingdom of God's. This day encompasses so much more to me than just a sweet day but has come with such new meaning and power. Some of the definitions of the word freedom;
* the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint
* exemption from external control, interference, regulation, etc
* the power to determine action without restraint
* the right to enjoy all the privileges or special rights of citizenship, membership
I have been set free by Jesus Christ from the power, hold, bondage and result of sin. I am exempt because of Christ from the external control of sin and circumstances in my life. I have the right because of full of grace to enjoy all the privileges of citzenship into God's kingdom. Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord!!!!
